The market was today with more or less unchanged directions of activity levels for the drybulk market. The capes remained with a slight negative tendency, the panamax and supramax with a minor negative tendency and the handysize remained unchanged.
The capesizes had today slower activity and it resulted in further falling rates in almost all areas. For the panamax size the activity was again little slower and the market reacted with slight falling rates in basically all areas and directions.
For the supramax and handysize dry cargo tonnage the market had unchanged activity levels. The supramax tonnage had minor falling rate levels in most areas and directions, except stable levels out of the Continent or West Africa. For the handysize vessels the market was with fine activity, and resulted in unchanged and stable rates in all areas and directions.
The European coaster market was today with unchanged slow activity. In the Baltic Sea area or on the Continent the freight rates were with minor falling tendency. The freight rates in the Black Sea area were with minor increasing rates today and the Mediterranean had again unchanged rates today.
The tanker market was today with unchanged slow level of activity. The crude oil tankers were with unchanged activity resulting in mainly stable and unchanged rates in most areas and directions. The product tanker market was today with okay activity and it resulted in very minor falling rate levels from the various loading areas.
