The market was today with new direction changes in parts of the drybulk chartering market. The capes had a again a better and positive tendency today, the panamax remained with negative direction, and the supramax and handysize remains with unchanged slight negative tendency.
The capesizes had today better activity and it resulted in slight increasing rates in the Continetal area, and with stable rates in almost all other areas and directions. For the panamax size the activity was slower and the market reacted with further slight falling rates in almost all areas and directions.
For the supramax and handysize dry cargo tonnage the market had again unchanged activity levels. The supramax tonnage had today again minor falling rate levels in most areas and directions. For the handysize vessels the market was with okay activity, and resulted in very minor falling rates in all areas and directions.
The European coaster market was today with little better activity levels. In the Baltic Sea area or on the Continent the freight rates were with unchanged rates. The freight rates in the Black Sea area were with minor increasing rates today and the Mediterranean had also minor increasing rate levels today.
The tanker market was today with unchanged and slight slower level of activity. The crude oil tankers were with unchanged activity resulting in very minor falling rates in most areas and directions. The product tanker market was today with little slower activity and it resulted also in minor falling rate levels from the various loading areas.
