Hill Dickinson announces partner promotions in its Piraeus team

The maritime Law firm has revealed two new partner appointments at the Piraeus office to bolster the corporate, finance and shipping transaction team in Piraeus, increasing the total Greek resident partnership to five partners.

The new partners Vanessa Tzoannos and Anthony Paizes are based in the firm’s Piraeus office and as the company’s head of the Piraeus office, Jasel Chauhan, said both Vanessa and Anthony’s expertise and commitment to the Greek market and maritime sector internationally has enabled them to develop Hill Dickinson’s presence in Europe, the Middle East and beyond.

Hill Dickinson mentions that Vanessa Tzoannos is a market leader and recognized in Greece for her foreign expertise advising on matters of Marshall Islands law.

Anthony Paizes also specialises in corporate, finance and transactional shipping matters.

Tony Goldsmith, the head of Marine & Trade, said that the promotion of the two new partners to its marine team in its summer 2022 promotions round, will expand the company’s presence in the Greek market.
