Gothenburg, Sweden headquartered Greencarrier AB has acquired a majority stake in Container Norway Utleie AS, one of Norway’s specialists in container sales, rental, and development.
Greencarrier states that it has acquired 60% of the company’s shares, becoming the majority owner.
Existing owners Øyvind Degnes and Jan Krokedal remain minority shareholders, and Øyvind Degnes will continue in his role as CEO.
Container Norway Utleie AS has operated since 1994 with the company supplying a wide range of container solutions to customers across Norway.
Fredrik Hermansson, business development manager at Greencarrier, commented on the acquisition: “Container Norway has built a strong and reputable operation, and together we see significant potential to broaden our offering and meet growing customer needs. This acquisition strengthens our capabilities within the logistics sector and enables us to deliver even greater value to our customers.”
