Wan Hai Lines has ordered a third batch of 3,055 teu series vessels from Japan Marine United Corporation.
This batch totals twelve vessels, and Wan Hai 375 and Wan Hai 377 are the last two vessels in this series.
These ships feature new energy-saving equipment and are certified with “Smart Ship” notations, said the company.
In addition to the ship naming, Wan Hai also made a charity donation of necessities to a charity organization, Esperance Yokkaichi, in Yokkaichi.
The charity donation represents part of Wan Hai Lines motto, “We carry, we care.”
The company reports that this move is part of its commitment to fulfil its corporate social responsibility, providing quality service to its customers, and supporting the society.
