Dry bulk owner 2020 Bulkers, with offices in Bermuda and Norway, has switched the index-linked time charter for Bulk Santiago to fixed rate time charter.
The Oslo-listed owner has fixed the vessel from December to end-February 2024 at a rate of $25,024 gross, plus scrubber benefit.
Magnus Halvorsen, chairperson of 2020 Bulkers, said in a statement: “Following the conversion for Bulk Santiago, 2020 Bulkers has four vessels fixed for December 2023, at average $21,887 per day, five vessels fixed for January 2024 at average $20,869 per day, five vessels fixed for February 2024, at average $20,869 per day, and three vessels fixed for March 2024 at average $19,177 per day.”
The shipowner reported that all of the mentioned ships will continue to earn a scrubber benefit during the fixed rate time charter periods.
The company said also today that has issued 30,000 common shares on November 30, 2023.
Following the share issuance, 2020 Bulkers has an issued share capital of US$22,750,906 divided into 22,750,906 common shares of par value US$1.00 each.
2020 Bulkers has eight newcastlemax dry bulk vessels in operation, and all vessels are fitted with exhaust scrubber systems.
