The Greek headquartered and New York-listed drybulk shipowner Diana Shipping Inc. has announced that, through a separate wholly-owned subsidiary, it has entered into a time charter contract with Cobelfret S.A., Luxembourg, for one of its Kamsarmax dry bulk vessels, the M/v “Myrsini”.
The gross charter rate is US$17,100 per day, minus a 5.00% commission paid to third parties, for a period until minimum February 1, 2025 up to maximum March 25, 2025.
The M/v “Myrsini” is a 82,117 dwt Kamsarmax dry bulk vessel built in 2010, and the new charter is expected to commence on June 25, 2024.
The M/v “Myrsini” is currently chartered, as previously announced, to Salanc Pte. Ltd., at a gross charter rate of US$15,000 per day, minus a 5.00% commission paid to third parties.
The employment of “Myrsini” is anticipated to generate approximately US$3.71 million of gross revenue for the minimum scheduled period of the time charter.
