Italian product tanker operator d’Amico International Shipping S.A. (DIS) has strengthened its charter portfolio with deals of around two years for two MR tankers.

The Milan- and OTCQX- listed company said its operating subsidiary, d’Amico Tankers D.A.C. (Ireland), has recently signed two new time-charter agreements with a “reputable counterparty.”

The agreements, with an unnamed counterparty, involve an Eco-MR1 and an Eco-MR2 vessel, both fixed at highly profitable daily hire rates, in accordance with the company.

Both fixtures run for approximately two years, with the MR1 chartered for a minimum of 23 months, up to a maximum of 25 months, and the MR2 fixed for a minimum of 23 months and up to 26 months.

The shipowner now has an estimated 57% of its available vessel days in Q4 2025 fixed at a TCE rate of approximately $23,384 per day. For the FY 2026, 42% of its available vessel days is fixed at a TCE rate of around $23,256 per day, and 16% of its available vessel days for FY 2027 is fixed at a TCE rate of approximately $22,214 per day.
