In accordance with the assessment of Drewry Supply Chain Advisors, the container rates rebounded back to increasing tendency. As it is mentioned, their composite World Container Index increased by 1% to $4,297 per 40-foot container.

Freight rates from Shanghai to Rotterdam remained unchanged at $4,653, and Rotterdam to Shanghai decreased by 1% or $6 to $583 per 40-foot container.

The rates from Shanghai to Genoa decreased by 2% or $124 to $5,506, while Shanghai to Los Angeles increased by 3% or $155 to $5,894. As it is also reported, those on Shanghai to New York increased by 4% or $315 to $7,893 per 40-foot container.

Finally, the rates from Los Angeles to Shanghai decreased by 2% or $20 to $839, and Rotterdam to New York increased by 2% or $54 to $2,773 per FEU, with the freight from New York to Rotterdam this week decreased by 1% or $7 to $1,096 per 40-foot container.
