Freight rates from Shanghai to Rotterdam decreased by 5% or $498 to $4,092, and Rotterdam to Shanghai increased by 1% or $6 to $594 per 40-foot container.
The rates from Shanghai to Genoa decreased by 10% or $89 to $4,368, while Shanghai to Los Angeles increased by 5% or $367 to $7,185. As it is also reported, those on Shanghai to New York increased by 3% or $254 to $9,587 per 40-foot container.
Meanwhile, the rates from Los Angeles to Shanghai decreased by 3% or $23 to $799, and Rotterdam to New York increased by 1% or $42 to $3,052 per FEU. Furthermore, the freight from New York to Rotterdam this week remained unchanged at $1,122 per 40-foot container.
