IC Shipbrokers herewith welcomes you to today’s freight market report. We are giving you an insight in today’s freight market and an update with the latest freight market indications.

The market was today with unchanged activity in the entire drybulk segment. The capes had marginal slower activity, the panamax, supramax plus the handysize all remained with unchanged activity.

The capesizes had little slower activity and therefore the result was with further very minor falling rates in almost all areas and directions. For the panamax size the activity was unchanged and the market reacted with fully stable rates in almost all areas and directions.

For the supramax and handysize dry cargo tonnage the market had again unchanged but fine activity levels. The supramax tonnage had unchanged activity with stable rate levels in most areas and directions. For the handysize vessels the market was also with unchanged activity, and resulted in further very minor increasing rates in all areas and directions.

The European coaster market was today with slow activity level. In the Baltic Sea area or on the Continent the freight rates were with sliding rates. The freight rates in the Black Sea area were with further slight falling rates and the Mediterranean had minor falling rate levels today.

The tanker market was today with little better level of activity. The crude oil tankers had fair activity resulting in stable rates in most areas and directions. The product tanker market was also with little better activity and it resulted in fully stable rate levels from the various loading areas.
