The market was today for the fourth day in a row with exactly same split in the drybulk market activity. The capes and panamax had good activity, and the supramax and handysize both with fully unchanged activity.
The capesizes had further improved activity and therefore the result was with fine increasing rates in almost all areas and directions. For the panamax size the activity was again little better and the market reacted with further minor increasing rates in almost all areas and directions.
For the supramax and handysize dry cargo tonnage the market had unchanged activity levels for both sizes. The supramax tonnage had unchanged activity with fully stable rate levels in most areas and directions. For the handysize vessels the market was also with unchanged activity, and resulted stable rates in all areas and directions.
The European coaster market was today with little improved activity level. In the Baltic Sea area or on the Continent the freight rates were with unchanged and stable rates despite more activity. The freight rates in the Black Sea area were again with very minor falling rates and the Mediterranean had also further minor falling rate levels today.
The tanker market was today with slowing level of activity. The crude oil tankers had little slower activity resulting in minor falling rates in most areas and directions. The product tanker market was with unchanged activity and it resulted in stable rate levels from the various loading areas.
