The market was today with a kind of back to normal activity in the entire drybulk market. The capes had after yesterday’s boom a little slower activity, the panamax were also little slower, but the supramax and handysize all with fair activity.
The capesizes had today a slower activity and therefore minor falling rates in almost all areas and directions. For the panamax size the activity was a little slower and the market reacted with minor falling rates in almost all areas and directions.
For the supramax and handysize dry cargo tonnage the market had again unchanged activity levels. The supramax tonnage had unchanged activity with very minor falling rate levels in most areas and directions. For the handysize vessels the market was with fair activity, and resulted in unchanged rates in all areas and directions.
The European coaster market was today with okay activity level. In the Baltic Sea area or on the Continent the freight rates were with unchanged but good rates. The freight rates in the Black Sea area were with minor increasing rates today and the Mediterranean had also minor increasing rate levels today.
The tanker market was again with slower level of activity. The crude oil tankers were with further slight slowing activity resulting again in slight falling rates in most areas and directions. The product tanker market was today with very slow activity and it resulted in real falling rate levels from the various loading areas.
