The market today was a true copy of the last three days in the entire dry bulk market. The capes had further slowed activity, the panamax and supramax both with little improved activity, and the handysize with marginal slower activity.
The capesizes had today slower activity and therefore the result was slight falling rates in almost all areas and directions. For the panamax size the activity was little better and the market reacted with very minor increasing rates in almost all areas and directions.
For the supramax and handysize dry cargo tonnage the market today had again different activity levels. The supramax tonnage had little better activity and with minor increasing rate levels in most areas and directions. For the handysize vessels the market was with little slowing activity, and resulted in minor falling rates in all areas and directions.
The European coaster market was today with slower activity level. In the Baltic Sea area or on the Continent the freight rates were with minor falling levels with a lot of spot vessels. The freight rates in the Black Sea area were with unchanged rates and the Mediterranean had minor falling rate levels.
The tanker market was today with positive level of activity. The crude oil tankers had further good activity resulting in slight increasing rates in most areas and directions. The product tanker market was with little improved activity and it resulted in marginal increasing rate levels from the various loading areas.
