The market was today with a kind of unchanged development of the entire drybulk market. The capesize was with marginal improving tendency, the panamax, supramax and handysize had unchanged activity.

The capesize had slightly better activity and it resulted in minor increasing rates in almost all areas and directions. For the panamax size the activity was okay and the market reacted with unchanged rates in almost all areas and directions.

For the supramax and handysize dry cargo tonnage the market had unchanged fine activity levels. The supramax tonnage had good activity with minor increasing rate levels in most areas and directions. For the handysize vessels the market was with fair activity, and resulted in very minor increasing rates in most areas and directions.

The European coaster market was today with slow activity level as this is the peak of the summer holidays in many countries. In the Baltic Sea area or on the Continent the freight rates were with stable low rates. The freight rates in the Black Sea area were with minor falling rates today and the Mediterranean had unchanged rate levels today.

The tanker market was today with a split in level of activity. The crude oil tankers were with improving activity resulting in slight increasing rates in most areas and directions. The product tanker market was today with little slower activity and it resulted in minor falling rate levels from the various loading areas.
