The market was today in general slower activity modus in the entire drybulk market. The capes had a slower tendency today, the panamax size continue with a slight negative tendency, and with the supramax and handysize continue with minor negative activity tendency.
The capesizes had today little slower activity and it resulted in minor falling rates in almost all areas and directions. For the panamax size the activity was again little slower and the market reacted with slight falling rates in almost all areas and directions.
For the supramax and handysize dry cargo tonnage the market had again unchanged activity levels. The supramax tonnage had fair activity and therefore again minor falling rate levels in most areas and directions. For the handysize vessels the market was with unchanged fair activity, and resulted in minor falling rates in all areas and directions.
The European coaster market was today with slower activity levels. In the Baltic Sea area or on the Continent the freight rates were back with minor falling rates and many prompt open vessels. The freight rates in the Black Sea area were with unchanged rates today and the Mediterranean had minor falling rate levels today.
The tanker market was today with renewed level of activity. The crude oil tankers were with little better activity resulting now in minor increasing rates in most areas and directions. The product tanker market was today also with better activity and it resulted also in minor increasing rate levels from the various loading areas.
