The market was today quite active in some parts of the drybulk market. The capes had another positive tendency today, the panamax had unchanged tendency, with the supramax continue with minor negative activity tendency, and the handysize were again with balanced tendency.
The capesizes had today very good activity and it resulted in good improving rates in almost all areas and directions, but mostly in the Pacific area. For the panamax size the activity was little less than yesterday and the market reacted with stable and unchanged rates in almost all areas and directions.
For the supramax and handysize dry cargo tonnage the market had minor slower activity levels. The supramax tonnage had again minor falling rate levels in most areas and directions. For the handysize vessels the market was with fair activity, but resulted in very minor falling rates in most areas and directions.
The European coaster market was today with balanced activity levels. In the Baltic Sea area or on the Continent the freight rates were stable today. The freight rates in the Black Sea area were with minor increasing rates today and the Mediterranean had unchanged rate levels today.
The tanker market was today again with a slower level of activity. The crude oil tankers were with slow activity resulting in further minor falling rates in most areas and directions. The product tanker market was today again also with little slower activity and it resulted in minor falling rate levels from the various loading areas.
