The market was today with a mix of directions in the drybulk market. The capes had today a more positive activity, but the panamax, supramax and handysize all had slower activity.
The capesizes had little better activity and therefore very minor increasing rates in almost all areas and directions. For the panamax size the activity was remaining slow and the market reacted with slight falling rates in almost all areas and directions.
For the supramax and handysize dry cargo tonnage the market had further slow activity levels. The supramax tonnage had little slower activity with very minor falling rate levels in most areas and directions. For the handysize vessels the market was also again with slower activity, and resulted in minor falling rates in all areas and directions.
The European coaster market was today with little slower activity level. In the Baltic Sea area or on the Continent the freight rates were with minor falling rates. The freight rates in the Black Sea area were with slight increasing rates today and the Mediterranean had again unchanged rate levels today.
The tanker market was today with better level of activity. The crude oil tankers were with little better activity resulting in stable rates in most areas and directions. The product tanker market was today with little better activity and it resulted in very minor falling rate levels from the various loading areas.
