The market today was with exactly the same split of directions in the large and small parts of dry bulk market as since Thursday last week. The capes had further slowed activity, the panamax had unchanged sliding activity, the supramax and handysize both with better activity.

The capesizes had again slower activity and therefore the result was with minor falling rates in almost all areas and directions. For the panamax size the activity was unchanged little slower and the market reacted with minor falling rates in almost all areas and directions.

For the supramax and handysize dry cargo tonnage the market today had improved activity levels for both sizes. The supramax tonnage had little better activity and with minor increasing rate levels in most areas and directions. For the handysize vessels the market was also with better activity, and resulted also in minor increasing rates in all areas and directions.

The European coaster market was today with unchanged activity level. In the Baltic Sea area or on the Continent the freight rates were with stable rates despite more open vessels. The freight rates in the Black Sea area were with minor increasing rates and the Mediterranean had also minor increasing rate levels today.

The tanker market was today with a further good level of activity. The crude oil tankers had good activity resulting in further slight increasing rates in most areas and directions. The product tanker market was also with good activity and it resulted also in slight increasing rate levels from the various loading areas.
