The market was today like in a limbo and the general tendency in the drybulk market kind of undecided. The capesize had slower activity, the panamax with unchanged activity, the supramax had little slower activity but the handysize had again little better activity.
The capesizes had little slower activity and therefore with minor falling rates in almost all areas and directions. For the panamax size the activity was marginal better and the market reacted with very minor increasing rates in almost all areas and directions.
For the supramax and handysize dry cargo tonnage the market had almost unchanged activity levels. The supramax tonnage had little slower activity with minor falling rate levels in most areas and directions. For the handysize vessels the market was again with unchanged activity, and resulted in minor increasing rates in all areas and directions.
The European coaster market was today with little slower activity level. In the Baltic Sea area or on the Continent the freight rates were with unchanged rates. The freight rates in the Black Sea area were with very minor increasing rates today and the Mediterranean had also unchanged rate levels today.
The tanker market was today with a mix in the level of activity. The crude oil tankers were with little better activity resulting in slight increasing rates in most areas and directions. The product tanker market was today with much slower activity and it resulted in real falling rate levels from the various loading areas.
