The market was today with a spilt in activity in the drybulk market. The capes and panamax had fine activity, the supramax and handysize both with unchanged activity.
The capesizes had little better activity and therefore the result was minor increasing rates in almost all areas and directions. For the panamax size the activity was also a little better and the market reacted with very minor increasing rates in almost all areas and directions.
For the supramax and handysize dry cargo tonnage the market unchanged activity levels. The supramax tonnage had also little slower activity with stable rate levels in most areas and directions. For the handysize vessels the market was also with unchanged activity, and resulted in very minor increasing rates in all areas and directions.
The European coaster market was today with unchanged activity level. In the Baltic Sea area or on the Continent the freight rates were with minor increasing rates. The freight rates in the Black Sea area were with unchanged rates and the Mediterranean had minor falling rate levels today.
The tanker market was today again with a split in level of activity. The crude oil tankers were with good activity resulting in good increasing rates in most areas and directions. The product tanker market was today again with little slower activity and it resulted in slight falling rate levels from the various loading areas.
