The market was today with similar directions in the drybulk market as yesterday. The capes had slowing activity, the panamax had little improving activity today, the supramax again with slower activity and handysize now also little downward activity.
The capesizes had slowing tendency and slight falling rates in almost all areas and directions. For the panamax size the activity was again fine and the market reacted with minor increasing rates in almost all areas and directions.
For the supramax and handysize dry cargo tonnage the market had further slowing activity levels. The supramax tonnage had slower activity with minor falling rate levels in most areas and directions. For the handysize vessels the market was also with little slower activity, and resulted in very minor falling rates in all areas and directions.
The European coaster market was today with unchanged activity level. In the Baltic Sea area or on the Continent the freight rates were with stable rates. The freight rates in the Black Sea area were also with stable rates today and the Mediterranean had further minor falling rate levels today.
The tanker market was today with general positive level of activity. The crude oil tankers were with very good activity resulting in top increasing rates in most areas and directions. The product tanker market was today with fine activity and it resulted in minor increasing rate levels from the various loading areas.
