The market was today with a balanced but still slight positive activity in the entire drybulk market. The capes had unchanged activity and the panamax, supramax and handysize all had little positive activity.
The capesizes had fully unchanged activity and therefore the result was stable rates in almost all areas and directions. For the panamax size the activity was a little better and the market reacted with minor increasing rates in almost all areas and directions.
For the supramax and handysize dry cargo tonnage the market still had unchanged positive activity levels. The supramax tonnage had better activity with slight increasing rate levels in most areas and directions. For the handysize vessels the market was with unchanged activity, and resulted in minor increasing rates in all areas and directions.
The European coaster market was today with little slower activity level. In the Baltic Sea area or on the Continent the freight rates were with very minor falling rates. The freight rates in the Black Sea area were with slight increasing rates and the Mediterranean had unchanged rate levels today.
The tanker market was today again with a split in level of activity. The crude oil tankers were again with little better activity resulting in slight increasing rates in most areas and directions. The product tanker market was today with unchanged activity and it resulted in stable rate levels from the various loading areas.
