The market was today with a similar situation of the drybulk market as yesterday. The capes had very negative activity tendency today, the panamax with further good positive activity and with the supramax and the handysize both with unchanged activity increase.
The capesizes had very slow activity and it resulted in badly falling rates in almost all areas and directions. For the panamax size the activity was real good and the market reacted with slight increasing rates in almost all areas and directions.
For the supramax and handysize dry cargo tonnage the market had unchanged positive activity levels. The supramax tonnage had fine activity with further minor increasing rate levels in most areas and directions. For the handysize vessels the market was with fair activity, and resulted in very minor increasing rates in all areas and directions.
The European coaster market was today with unchanged slow activity level. In the Baltic Sea area or on the Continent the freight rates were with further minor falling rates and many open vessels. The freight rates in the Black Sea area were also with minor falling rates today and the Mediterranean had slight falling rate levels today.
The tanker market was today with okay level of activity. The crude oil tankers were with good activity resulting in slight increasing rates in most areas and directions. The product tanker market was today little slower activity and it resulted in minor increasing rate levels from the various loading areas.
