The drybulk market was today split in two different directions and different activity levels. The capes and panamax had both a sliding activity tendency today, and with the supramax and handysize both had unchanged and stable activity.
The capesizes had slower activity and it resulted in slight falling rates in almost all areas and directions. For the panamax size the activity was also slower and the market reacted with slight falling rates in almost all areas and directions.
For the supramax and handysize dry cargo tonnage the market had unchanged activity levels. The supramax tonnage had fair activity with stable rate levels in most areas and directions. For the handysize vessels the market was with okay activity, and resulted in unchanged rates in all areas and directions.
The European coaster market was today with unchanged activity level. In the Baltic Sea area or on the Continent the freight rates were with unchanged low rates. The freight rates in the Black Sea area were with minor falling rates today and the Mediterranean had unchanged rate levels today.
The tanker market was today with a mix in the level of activity. The crude oil tankers were with slower activity resulting in slight falling rates in most areas and directions. The product tanker market was today with better activity and it resulted in slight increasing rate levels from the various loading areas.
