The Finland-based Ro/Ro specialist Godby Shipping AB (Godby) has announced that the time charter agreements with Danish liner company DFDS for the Lysvik Seaways, Lysbris Seaways and Transporter have been extended until 31 December 2027.
The Lysvik Seaways and Lysbris Seaways joined the Godby Shipping fleet in December 2021 and January 2022 respectively, when the company purchased the vessels from DFDS.
Since the purchase, the vessels have been carrying Norske Skog paper from Skogn in Norway, to Sheerness in UK, Amsterdam in the Netherlands, and Hamburg in Germany.
Furthermore, the Transporter joined the fleet of Godby from Eckerö Shipping in November 2025 and continued trading for DFDS between Drammen, Halden and Fredrikstad in Norway and Immingham in UK.
