Greek company Okeanis Eco Tankers Corp., led by Ioannis A. Alafouzos, has provided an update on its commercial performance, projecting an estimated daily time charter equivalent rate (Daily TCE Rate) of around $75,400 per operating day for the fourth quarter across its fleet.

Looking at the first quarter of 2026, the company said that approximately 26% of the available fleetwide spot days have been booked at an average daily TCE rate of $106,700 per operating day.

Explaining the current deployment of its fleet, the company stated that all of its vessels are trading spot / short term.

Specifically, the company’s VLCC vessels are expected to have a daily TCE rate of approximately $91,300 per operating day for the fourth quarter of 2025.

Thus far in the first quarter of 2026, approximately 37% of the available VLCC spot days have been booked at an average daily TCE rate of $110,100 per operating day.

For the company’s suezmax vessels, Okeanis Eco Tankers anticipates for the fourth quarter a daily TCE rate of around $50,800 per operating day,

Thus far in the first quarter of 2026, approximately 16% of the available suezmax spot days have been booked at an average daily TCE rate of $98,500 per operating day.

Meanwhile, the company confirmed the delivery of two newbuilding suezmax vessels in January 2026. The Nissos Piperi was delivered on January 8, and the Nissos Serifopoula on January 14. Both vessels were under construction at Daehan Shipbuilding Co., Ltd.

OET’s sailing fleet consists of eight scrubber-fitted suezmax tankers and eight scrubber-fitted VLCC tankers.
