DryDel Shipping, led by Costas Delaportas, shared a photo in the social media of its newly delivered Namura ship Carpe Diem.
The ceremony was graced by its president and chief of the company, Costas Delaportas, alongside esteemed members of the DryDel team.
A DryDel team travelled from Athens to Imari to attend the delivery of the newly build vessel.
Delivered from Namura Shipbuilding Co., Ltd. in Imari, Japan, the ship is the third 40,000 dwt new building the company has welcomed into its fleet.
Last Friday, the shipowner celebrated this milestone by naming M/V Carpe Diem, which translates to “Seize the Day.”
This marks DryDel’s 13th vessel in its owned fleet and the third delivery from Namura Shipyard within just four months.
