This delivery marks the newest addition to the GasLog fleet, following the successful delivery of her sister vessel, the GasLog Italy.
To remind, GasLog Italy was officially named on July 10 at Hanwha Ocean shipyard in Geoje, South Korea. This LNG carrier, with a cargo capacity of 174,000m3, is powered by two HP-2S MEGI engines and equipped with two shaft generators, an air lubrication system and a full reliquefaction system.
During this ceremony, Mrs. Ilaria Azzimonti, head of LNG portfolio at Eni S.p.A, served as the vessel’s godmother, christening the GasLog Italy and breaking a champagne bottle for good luck.
