GasLog backed by Greek shipowner Peter G. Livanos has revealed a new addition to its fleet. On October 2, Marvel Phoenix (H2533) was officially delivered to her owners, now under the management of GasLog.
On September 30, at Hanwha Ocean Shipyard in sunny Geoje, a ceremony took place where the vessel’s esteemed sponsor, Ms. Zhou Ling, head of the shipping department at CMBFL, officially named the vessel and broke the champagne bottle for good fortune.
With a cargo tank capacity of 174,000 m3, the ship is powered by two HP-2S MEGI engines and equipped with two shaft generators and a full reliquefaction system.

This delivery marks the newest addition to the GasLog fleet, following the successful delivery of her sister vessel, the GasLog Italy.
To remind, GasLog Italy was officially named on July 10 at Hanwha Ocean shipyard in Geoje, South Korea. This LNG carrier, with a cargo capacity of 174,000m3, is powered by two HP-2S MEGI engines and equipped with two shaft generators, an air lubrication system and a full reliquefaction system.
During this ceremony, Mrs. Ilaria Azzimonti, head of LNG portfolio at Eni S.p.A, served as the vessel’s godmother, christening the GasLog Italy and breaking a champagne bottle for good luck.
