Ukraine’s Asset Recovery and Management Agency (ARMA) is looking for a manager for a dry cargo vessel which is moored near the dock of the railway and ferry complex of Chornomorsk port.
The 2000-built dry cargo vessel of 73,281 dwt, with a draught of 6.8 meters, is 225 meters long.
Based on the verdict of the investigative judge of the Pechersk District Court of Kyiv this cargo vessel was transferred to ARMA for management, the agency announced in the social media with a relevant statement.
ARMA inspected the asset and reported that the vessel is in satisfactory condition and can be used, in particular, as a floating grain storage for the transhipment and storage of dry cargo.
“Over the past year, the cost of grain storage has increased significantly due to increased cost and increased risk of storage. Considering the limited possibilities of the port infrastructure of the Odessa region for the passage of bulk (grain) cargo, this asset may have a high investment interest of market operators,” said the deputy chairman of ARMA, Stanislav Petrov.
The next stage will be the announcement of an open competition to select the manager of this asset, which will be open to anyone willing to take part.
