The Norwegian-headquartered offshore and subsea vessel provider DOF Group ASA (DOF) has announced two new long-term contracts in Brazil.

Following the same competitive tender process that resulted in the contract awards of Skandi Achiever, Skandi Carla, Geoholm and Skandi Salvador on the RSV 2024 tender, as reported by Shipping Telegraph on August 22, 2025, the Skandi Chieftain and Skandi Olympia have now also been awarded 4-year charters with Petrobras.

The medium-sized subsea vessel Skandi Chieftan is built in 2005 and the DP2 construction support vessel Skandi Olympia is built in 2009.

DOF mentions that both vessels will operate with one WROV and are expected to be delivered in October 2026.

The two new Petrobras contracts have a combined value of approximately $200m.
