Floatel Superior offshore floatel vessel

Floatel International Ltd. has announced that its previously communicated letter of intent with an undisclosed North Sea client for Floatel Superior to provide services in the summer 2026, has now been converted to a firm contract.

The now fixed contract is planned to start in the second quarter of 2026 and is for three months with one option month, but the available option period may be extended depending on the start date for the AkerBP Yggdrasil charter, as the company mentions.

Floatel Superior is a semi-submersible accommodation and construction support vessel (Floatel) built in 2010 by KeppelFELS Shipyard in Singapore.

Floatel International Ltd, established in 2006, provides offshore Floatels for extreme conditions. The company has its principal place of business and group headquarters in Oslo, Norway.

Floatel International AB, a Swedish subsidiary, acts as ship manager and provides onshore operational support and supervision.
