Norwegian based offshore service company Golden Energy Offshore Services ASA has disclosed that its subsidiary Energy Partner AS signed a binding sales agreement for a platform supply vessel (PSV).
The vessel involved is the 2016-built PSV Energy Partner built by Cosco Guangzhou Shipyard.
The agreement is based on the industry standard Saleform 2012 form and is subject to ordinary conditions for payment upon delivery.
The gross sale price for the Energy Partner is agreed at $27.25m (around NOK 265m), the company said, and this sale is expected to be completed medio February 2026.
Upon completion, the transaction will result in a booked gain of approximately $6.5m.
The shipowner pointed out that this sale is expected to generate net proceeds after repayment of the lease, break fees, and transaction costs of around $12.5m.
After completion of the sale, the company’s fleet will consist of the multi-purpose support vessel (MPSV) Energy Duchess (sister vessel to MPSV Energy Empress), the PSV Energy Paradise, the PSV Energy Passion and PSV Energy Pace (sister vessels to PSV Energy Partner), and the 2005-built PSV Energy Swan.
Earlier this month, the company also announced the sale of the 2019-built multi-purpose support vessel (MPSV) Energy Empress. The company’s subsidiary Energy Empress AS signed a binding sales agreement for the vessel Energy Empress. The agreement is based on the industry standard Saleform 2012 form and is subject to ordinary conditions for payment upon delivery.
The gross sales price for the Energy Empress is agreed at $30m (around NOK 300m), the company said, and the sale is expected to be completed during February 2026.
The two vessels will be sold for a gross purchase price of approximately NOK 560 million.
