Norway’s Aurora Offshore AS, part of the Borealis Maritime Group, has been awarded full management of the newly named DP II PSV “Ace Discoverer” from the vessel owners Capital Offshore Ship Management Corp in Piraeus, Greece.

As a reminder, the PSV “Ace Discoverer”, ex “Songa Discoverer”, was built in 2021.

The vessel is reported to be Cyprus-flagged with a deck area of 900 m2. Its deck strength is reported to be 2500 t.

The vessel has recently just completed a term contract in Canada with Atlantic Towing and is currently in the West Coast Norway completing some maintenance before heading back to the North Sea Spot Market.

The company now expects to strengthen its partnership with Capital Offshore after this deal announcement.

“We very much look forward to working closely with the Ace Discoverer and her crew and enhancing our relationship with Capital Offshore,” the company said in a short statement.

Headquartered in Kristiansand Norway the company has a fleet portfolio of 4 anchor handling tug supply vessels, and 16 platform supply vessels.
