Norway’s Aurora Offshore, part of the Borealis Group, has been awarded full management of two re-named, large DP II, platform supply vessels PSV’s “Ace Supplier” and “Ace Viking” from the vessel owners Capital Offshore Ship Management Corp in Piraeus, Greece.
As a reminder, the vessels “Ace Supplier”, ex Standard Supplier and “Ace Viking”, ex Standard Viking were built in 2007 by Brattvaag Skipsverft in Norway.
The two PSV’s are reported to be Cyprus-flagged, with ice class Ice (1B), and a deck area of 1060 m2. Its deck strength is reported to be 2950 t.
Both vessels have recently just completed term contracts with both BP and Shell and are now currently available in the North Sea spot market.
The company now expects to strengthen its partnership with Capital Offshore after this deal announcement.
“These two sister vessels are well known to the market due to their high specification and capacities and are a welcome addition to our managed fleet,” the company said in its statement.
Headquartered in Kristiansand Norway the company has a fleet portfolio of 4 anchor handling tug supply vessels, and 15 platform supply vessels.
