The Norway-based shipowner and offshore tonnage provider Solstad Offshore ASA (SOFF) has entered into an agreement for a two-year extension of the current contract with Petrobras for the CSV Normand Fortress, a vessel owned by Solstad Maritime ASA (SOMA).

The contract extension with Petrobras is expected to commence in early July 2026. Under the contract, the vessel will provide accommodation services to support production activities on the Brazilian continental shelf.

The gross contract value of the contract extension is approximately US$56m.

The offshore vessel will be on bareboat contract from SOMA to SOFF, which is the contract holder with Petrobras.

Solstad Offshore ASA holds 27.3% of the shares in Solstad Maritime ASA.
