The Norway-headquartered offshore and subsea service provider Reach Subsea has exercised the first one-year option for the subsea vessel Olympic Triton, extending the charter through February 2027.

The subsea vessel has been on charter to Reach Subsea since February 2023 under a firm three-year agreement with two optional one-year extensions.

The Olympic Triton is a modern, multifunctional subsea vessel equipped with a 150-tonne crane, generous accommodation capacity, and a large deck area.

Furthermore, Reach Subsea states that it also has been informed by Norwegian based shipowner Eidesvik Offshore of a delay in the delivery of the vessel Viking Vigor, which is now expected in Q3 2026.

Viking Vigor is a next-generation IMR/Survey vessel with a 150-tonne crane, featuring low-emission technology, a smart lifting arrangement, and a state-of-the-art equipment package. It is currently under construction at Sefine Shipyard in Turkey and will be managed by Eidesvik Offshore,” reads the statement of Reach Subsea.
