Norway’s offshore specialist Sea1 Offshore has secured a multi-well project for three anchor handling tug supply (AHTS) vessels in Australia.
According to Viking Supply Ships release, the new contract award will begin in either the second or third quarter of 2025 for a firm period of around 380 days up to approximately 670 days per vessel.
As it is reported, one of the vessels will be from Viking Supply Ships.
The vessels will be servicing a consortium of local operators with various drilling and decommissioning projects.
The company didn’t disclose any financial details for the contract.
To remind, Sea1 Offshore announced its intention during the summer to sign management agreements for six AHTS vessels owned by the Viking Supply Ships AB (publ.) group.
Viking Supply Ships has currently in its fleet portfolio the Magne Viking, Odin Viking, Loke Viking, Njord Viking, Brage Viking, and Andreas Viking AHTS vessels.
The transfer of the vessel management to Sea1 Offshore is intended to be completed during this month and is subject to final documentation.
