Norwegian-based Siem Offshore announces that it has fixed a charter extension for the anchor handling tug supply vessel (AHTS) “Siem Topaz” in Taiwan.
Since March 2023 the vessel is running on charter to Helix Robotics Solutions in Taiwan for a period until Q4 2023, and this new fixture will commence in direct continuation of the current contract for a firm period until Q4 2024, the company says in its statement.
The “Siem Topaz”, a 2010 built and 3900 Dwat AHTS vessel with 28,000 BHP, will therefore continue to be employed within the offshore wind industry.
