Asia Pacific’s marine, offshore supply and logistics provider Sinwa Group has sealed an agreement to acquire Francois Marine & Offshore’s Asian operations from Northern Marine Group.
The company will acquire the ship supply and logistics operations in Singapore, Hong Kong, China and South Korea. The aim is to combine product and service offering across Asia Pacific.
Francois Marine & Offshore, a specialist in offshore marine supplies, logistics and supply chain management, is part of a family of companies owned by the Northern Marine Group, itself a subsidiary of Stena AB, one of the world’s leading shipping conglomerates.
The merger between the two major marine, offshore supply, and logistics businesses will see Sinwa Group expand its operations and capabilities to support a growing global client base.
Francois Marine & Offshore, previously owned by Northern Marine Group, has Asian ship supply operations and infrastructure in Singapore, Hong Kong, Shanghai and Busan.
The acquired company will continue to operate under the brand Francois Marine & Offshore.
Through the combination of Sinwa and Francois Marine’s expertise and offerings, the joint client base will have access to a wider scope of products and services across Singapore, Korea, Hong Kong, China, Thailand and Australia.
