The Norwegian shipowner and offshore tonnage provider Solstad Offshore ASA (Solstad) has secured multiple contracts in Brazil.
Solstad has announced multiple contract awards with Brazilian oil major Petrobras, subject to board approval, for two large anchor handling tug supply (AHTS) vessels and one construction support vessel (CSV).
The ship owner states that the AHTS vessels have been awarded new contracts with a duration of 4 years each, whereof one of the contracts also includes ROV services.
According to Solstad, the contracts are set to commence in the first quarter of 2026 and will be covered by two AHTSs from the global Solstad Maritime fleet.
The construction support vessel Normand Flower, also owned by Solstad Maritime, has been awarded a 4-year contract including ROV services, with commencement in December 2025.
Solstad Offshore ASA holds 27,3% of the shares in Solstad Maritime ASA.
