The Norwegian shipowner and offshore tonnage provider Solstad Offshore ASA (SOFF) refers to its stock exchange notice dated April 30, 2025, which Shipping Telegraph reported in detail, announcing contract awards with Brazilian oil major Petrobras for two anchor handling tug supply vessels (AHTS), owned by Solstad Maritime (SOMA), subject to the board approval.

Solstad Maritime has now confirmed that the subjects are now lifted and the AHTS vessels “Normand Sigma” and “Normand Sirius” have been allocated to the Petrobras contracts.

The shipowner states in its statement that the contracts will commence in the first quarter of 2026, and each have a duration of four years with a combined gross value of approximately USD$210m.

The two AHTS vessels will be on bareboat contracts from SOMA to SOFF, which is the contract holder with Petrobras.
