The Norwegian-based offshore tonnage provider Solstad Maritime ASA (SOMA) has announced that its subsidiary Maximus Shipping AS entered into a bareboat charterparty (as owners) (BBCP) for the CSV Normand Maximus on October 7, 2022 with Normand Maximus AS.
The company Normand Maximus AS is a wholly owned subsidiary of Solstad Offshore ASA (SOFF).
In accordance with the BBCP terms, Normand Maximus AS has an option to purchase Normand Maximus after five years of chartering i.e. in October 2027, with 12 months advance notice.
Normand Maximus AS has now declared the option to purchase Normand Maximus in October 2027 as per purchase option price of US$125m.
