The Stavanger-based offshore tonnage provider Simon Møkster Shipping AS (Møkster) has announced that Norwegian oil and energy company Vår Energi has declared their option for two more years of service for the Stril Barents.
Møkster informs that the vessel has already served almost 10 years in the Barents Sea for Vår Energi.
The LNG-powered Stril Barents is a combined emergency rescue and response vessel and PSV, offering full underdeck capacities and emergency services.
It also forms an integral part of the oil spill response system in the region.
