Norway’s offshore wind service specialist Edda Wind ASA has entered into agreements for the potential sale of its fleet of service operation vessels (SOVs) and commissioning service operation vessels (CSOVs), including newbuilds, to be split amongst two buyers, according to a stock exchange filing from Wilh. Wilhelmsen Holding ASA.

In an announcement on Euronext on March 4, Wilh. Wilhelmsen Holding said the two buyers are North Star, a Partners Group portfolio company, and an affiliate of Navigare Capital Partners A/S.

The completion of the sale is conditional upon inspections being completed and certain conditions precedent being satisfied.

Wilhelmsen New Energy AS, a firm controlled by Wilh. Wilhelmsen Holding ASA, indirectly owns 37.76% of the entire issued share capital of Edda Wind ASA.
