East Jutland’s Police has reported that a temporary military area – also known as an MMO – will be established at the port of Aarhus, in Denmark.
The Danish Defence establishes a temporary military zone in Aarhus Port to guard sensitive equipment prior to shipment.
The MMO will be guarded and located in a port area with no access to the public. The police do not elaborate on what type of sensitive equipment will be guarded.
The area will be established in the period from 18 August 2026 at 07:00 to 20 August 2026 at 20:00, as East Jutland Police said in a press release on August 18.
East Jutland’s Police said drone overflights are prohibited over the area, referring to the Armed Forces for more information.
The area will be clearly marked with signage, indicating that access to unauthorized persons is prohibited.
