Iran’s President Masoud Pezeshkian pledges full support to victims’ families following the deadly Shahid Rajaee Port blast, vowing swift compensation and investigation.
The president urged relevant officials to collaborate with insurance companies to facilitate damage assessments and expedite compensation payments, ensuring that the injured and affected individuals do not endure further hardships.
He also advocated for comparative studies of port and customs management in other countries to identify successful practices and reform Iran’s port and customs structures, planning, and management methods.
Speaking during a national festival honoring Iranian workers in Tehran last week, Pezeshkian emphasized that his administration is actively addressing the concerns of the families of the victims and the injured from the Shahid Rajaee Port incident.
In his speech the president expressed his condolences to the families of the deceased and underlined that the 14th administration will make every effort to support the bereaved families.
He referenced a meeting held in Bandar Abbas, Hormozgan Province, following the powerful explosion at Shahid Rajaee Port, noting that an insurance company has been assigned to process claims related to the incident.
