BWS Siemens Garmesa agreement

Danish-headquartered shipping and logistic company Blue Water has secured a three-year extension of its Port Service agreement with Siemens Gamesa Renewable Energy.

The signed agreement continues a long-standing partnership between the two companies at the Danish Port of Esbjerg, Blue Water said, which is a key hub for offshore wind logistics, providing port logistics and operational support.

With more than 30 years of experience, Blue Water plays an integral role in offshore wind operations at the Port of Esbjerg.

Christian L. Johansen, global commodity manager for ports & transportation at Siemens Gamesa, said that “We are very pleased to continue our partnership with Blue Water. Their comprehensive proposal and commitment to excellence assure us they are the right partner to support our business.”

Johansen added, “We look forward to building on the solid foundation we have established and continuing our close cooperation with the Ports and Harbour Service team in Esbjerg.”

Per Jensen, director port service at Blue Water, noted that “Securing this renewal is a testament to the strong relationship we have developed with Siemens Gamesa over the years,” adding that, “We are honoured by their continued trust in our capabilities, and look forward to supporting their work in renewable energy through our port services.”
