The Suez Canal Authority’s (SCA) maritime rescue units succeeded yesterday in rescuing the cargo ship LABATROS from complete sinking at the Suez Canal.
The SCA was also rescuing the crew of 12, in a quick response to the ship’s emergency immediately entering the northern waiting area of the ships at the entrance of Port Said where it submerged before joining the northern convoy to cross the Suez Canal.
The ship has the flag of Tanzania, is 94 meters long, 15 meters wide, being 6 meters submerged and carrying 3000 tons.
